A multi-level office building, with numerous different clients in small units, was surveyed ahead of a major refurbishment back into one client’s office space. Survey planning was extremely important to allow for the continued operation of the building with minimal disturbance.
The survey was completed in a methodical and organised manner with all offices, circulation spaces & plant areas being surveyed. The intrusive elements of the survey were completed during times of minimal occupancy, with all intrusion points being temporarily sealed. Numerous samples were collected for laboratory analysis and the final report was detailed and easy to understand.
Following an assessment of the report, Grosvenor Asbestos Solutions were asked to plan and quote for asbestos removal. The on-going asbestos removal is being completed once the existing tenants vacate their units, so careful planning and timing is paramount in the successful completion of the project.
Non-licensed and licensed ACMs are being removed so a joint venture licensed asbestos contractor is being used for the higher risk asbestos removal.
Project is on-going into the end of 2023. Initial phases of asbestos removal have been completed safely and to the timescales provided.
